Flexor Tenosynovitis

Trigger Finger is a condition in which your finger/thumb gets locked in bent position when you make a fist and doesn't open up on its own.

It gives a unlocking click/sound when opened/straigtened with the help.

It is usually seen in people with diabetes and arthritis specially women.

Although quite debilitating, it can be treated with or without surgery.

Sometimes your treating doctor can advise you for intra-lesional steroid injection depending upon certain conditions.

It Usually resolves in few months with treatment and delaying treatment can push you towards the surgical option for correction.
